In last 2018, we were commissioned to redesign SafeWork NSW RTO’s Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) framework. Covering the Advanced Diploma and Diploma of Government (Workplace Inspection), the RPL assessment pathway is offered to safety Inspectors throughout NSW.
This project has involved extensive consultation with a number of subject matter experts to ensure the assessment materials and guidance documents are highly customised to the needs to SW and its RTO.
Improving the candidate’s experience throughout the RPL process was one of the major goals of this project. To achieve this we used a range of evidence gathering techniques and streamlined the documentation to ensure any extraneous information was removed.
The result was a market leading suite of RPL assessment resources that are set to improve the RPL experience at SafeNSW RTO!
